In the 18th century, Kinross as the county town was a staging post for mail and passenger stage coaches. Many inns provided a welcome for weary travellers and this tradition of hospitality is still a feature of 21st century Kinross. For lunch and dinner the town offers a wide range of eating places, several only a short walk from Burnbank.
